Hot right now: art spaces, something in between a museum and a gallery… European governments are cutting down their financial support for institutions such as museums in order for them to work on a more profit-oriented basis which in theory sounds easy and reasonable but in real life is next to impossible. Question: How is a museum supposed to come up with fantastic exhibitions that draw tons of people without a decent budget to: 1. get hold of the pieces (rent, transport, insurance, curators, etc); 2. advertise and promote the exhibition; 3. get good reviews?
